Dancin’ Soul Boutique has been here for all your dance needs and wants since 2014, when reopened up our shop in downtown Carlsbad.
Since then, we have continued to provide the best in quality and value for all of our dancers, their families and local studios.

I'm from southern California LA, Encinitas, Irvine and now Carlsbad. In my free time I like to travel with my family.

a bit about Kate: I’m from Orange County, California. In my free time I love to go to the beach or go on hikes.
My favorite thing about working at Dancin Soul is being able to help educate people about dance and make them feel more confident going into their classes.

a bit about Serafina: I am from San Diego. I love cozy low energy activities like reading and picnics.
I love when little kids who are just starting out come in for their first pair of shoes it makes my day so special each and every time.
favorite style of dance: silly dances you do with friends and whatever the napoleon dynamite dance is

ERIN KOWLAND
TEAM MEMBER
a bit about Erin: My hometown is St. Louis, Missouri. I grew up there and even started dating my husband in high school. I moved away after we were married and he joined the Navy. Between my three daughters’ schedules, I don’t have a ton of free time. I’m usually bouncing between the dance studio and the soccer fields. However, when I do have an off moment, I enjoy hiking, geocaching or spending time at the beach with my family.
My favorite thing about working at Dancin Soul is getting to see kids and adults process through their dance journey. From picking out their first tiny tutu dress to helping them gather their supplies for their first recital. I also LOVE being a part of pointe shoe fittings and watching the excitement and pride that dancers feel when they experience their first fitting. It is so much fun being a part of these special moments and encourage dancers (from our youngest to our more mature dancers) to feel confident in themselves and enjoy the journey.
favorite style of dance: Contemporary or Lyrical. I love how expressive and freeing both styles are and how each artist can be interpretive with the choreography.
favorite color: pink. Always pink.
